Remember the infamous 80's TV-series?
It's back.
And this time, KITT is made in Germany.

it should be illegal to sell a car with that shaZam!
same thing with those stupid systems that warn you when you are leaving your lane, or the beepy things that warn you if you are about to run over a 5 year old.

if you need that kind of shaZam! , you are too retarded to drive, and shouldnt be allowed to.
your just gonna end up killing me in the end.
and then society as a whole loses, because the ratio of retards to people with brains ticks one more number in the wrong direction.

I'm going to cut my trucks tweeter out. I hate Those Dingers that warn you that you left your Keys in the Switch or leave your lights on.To make it worse it has one to warn you that you didn't fasten your seatbelt every 15 seconds. It's causing me to lose my Hearing from turning the Stereo up to drown it out.

yea, lexus did it first. they also are the numbnuts that came up with the out of lane warning thing.
and the NHTSA has mandated all cars by 2009 get traction control (i think its 2009, could be wrong about the year tho)

we better buy up all the manly, you-actually-drive-it-yourself-not-some-stupid-computer cars before they turn us all into a bunch of wussy ass losers that cant drive.

^^^^ lol  I agree.

I also think though that your right, that is bloody cool that technology can do that but i bet its got limits higher the summit of mount everest. It is probably only capable of parking it in a space the size of a house for those "just in case" times when you need 3ft at the front and back of your car. yeaaaa. Cool idea but if you can't do it on the road buy a scooter or quit driving altogether.

Onto Jared . My ex's parents had a Peugeot 407 which did that. No seatbelt, no problem well deafen you until your forced to put it on. Starts out a little quiet warning bell then gets louder and louder and louder until you put it on. Also the weight settings are way too light, putting a box of schoolwork on the passenger seat is enough for it to sound the seatbelt warning  :cookoo:

We also had a tracked tractor on hire this year a Claas Challanger. That was the ultimate in annoying warnings. Due to the way they steer - they increase power to the left or right track. This means all the weight when your pulling is attempting to be pulled by the one track, Its a retarded system that doesn't work but anywho when your pulling a hard bit of kit like a cultivating and going round a slight bend yes slight the warning alarm goes off to say the track is under too much strain. A whole load of warning lights come up the start screeching ear splittingly so, the only way to fix the fooking alarm is to shut the tractor off with the key at which point another fooking alarm comes on about the parking brake not been on so you pull that on quick to save your ears. So now you try and start said tractor up, but it has an automatic techtronic gear box that you left in forward. Alarm goes off to tell you you cant start the tractor because its in forward so you take it out of forward and then start the tractor up then put it in forward another fooking alarm goes off because the parking brake is still on when you never even wanted to put it on in the first place, meaning you have to take it out of gear to reset the gearbox, take parking brake off then put into forward again. At which point you will probably set the track alarm off again!

This happens regularly as there is no logic to why it does these things its a fecking pain in the arse we spent most of the hire period trying to find the warning buzzer location, disconnected it only to find there were others hidden elsewhere in the cab GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Thankfully its gone back now  :)

The only thing you need a noise warning for is leaving the hand brake on. Thats it. If the car lights are on and you take the keys out and lock the car then they should turn them selves off. Then if you wanted to leave them on you just wouldn't lock the car. Simple. Seatbelt warnings should have an override switch.

Yes, I agree too. I read somewhere that the ParkAssist system (or similar) only works in large spaces... An average human driver can park that car in smaller ones.

I just posted the link 'cause I thought it was a nice, well-done commercial. That's all. :dunno_white:

Have you looked up the seat belt dinger disable routine for th eF-150? Jesus it's like a 20 step routine to disable the dinger for the seatbelt.

I haven't done the F-150 yet. I had my old silverado done when I did apartment maintenance. Driving on private property all day long at 10mph and in and out of the truck there was no need for to wear my belt. I'll probably leave the F-150 alone since it never gets a chance to go off. Unless I  wind up doing something like apartment maintenance again that is.
Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.
