Went to FAQ, will these directions work?

I have Kat forks that i want to replace the Springs on. will the directions in the FAQ work with the Kat forks???

No. The 89-96(7) Kat forks do not need a tool to be inserted to dissassemble them. The 88 & 97 may require a tool from the diagrams I have looked at but it is different than the one required for the GS.

I have a FAQ write-up for rebuilding them but need to take a few more pics before posting it. I can email you the text portion without pics if you want.
Common sense in not very common.

+1 We worked together on that write up.The Gs forks are much more difficult to do, the
kats are extremly easy.If you know the year it would help.
