i want someone in office who will fight to keep my job in america instead of allowing it to be outsorced to china to improve said corporations bottom line. i want someone in office who will make a serious attempt to fix our health insurance issues in america. i want someone whos' not afraid to boot the illegals out and punish companies who hire them just to save a buck or two. the welfare program needs changes. something needs to be done to check inflation. when i got out of highschool 8 years ago, i dreamed of getting a $15-$20 an hour job. that was big bucks then. now, i have said job. and am still broke. too broke to give my kids the life they want, yet i make too much money to even think of asking the govt for any kind of assistance. all the while, my hard earned tax dollars go to support programs to give lazy people and illegals a free ride. it's time we had someone in office who is willing to selfishly think of only us americans for once. forget about foreign policy at this point. you can't help someone who's on fire very well if you've got a lit match in your own pocket.

All those things are great, maybe if the administration didn't BLOW over a trillion dollars on an unjustified pre-emptive war, there would be some money around to help said issues.
Yes, I believe social reform programs need to be re-vamped because there are people who take advantage of them. I do, however believe they need to exist. If you lost your job, unemployment insurance would make sure you don't starve to death. Another thing Americans need is affordable heallthcare. I went a few post-college years without healthcare because if you are not in a company plan, the monthly bill is outrageous ($300+ per Month). I definitely agree that we need to scale down on the foreign policy spending, cause it obviously isn't doing us that much good. Oil costs more, there is still violence around the world, and there aren't any countries that hate/love us more or less than there were before the "War".

I worry about the economy and the upcoming generations. But I suppose every generation worries about their children and grandchildren. Although I have accomblished much as a parent officer and politician. But I wonder if I have done enough or if there is more to do.  I did pass laws that were my priority when I first got elected. But electoral reform has escaped.  It is prolly going to remained undone by me anyhow
