Tank & plastics for $ale (+ some other stuff too)

tank & rear plastics off a cali 90 model. can be used on non cali models, just has an extra vent on bottom of tank for vapors. recently lined with Kreem (2x, i considered the first time practice:) i scored a new style tank, so this one has to go. $100 or so + ship (that what it cost me to have the new tank shipped to me.) here is a pic of it installed on the bike

also selling stock headlight, handlebars, new r1 taillight, stock tail light, 1 pair of buell  turnsignals, 2 pair stock turnsignals, stock airbox & filter, recently recovered seat, & tank bra.

got my dual light setup, & am doing a 2001+ conversion. so now i have all the matching plastics to match (i still need the front fender though, may swap for another) handlebars, headlight, a set of buell blast turnsignals, & both sets of stock lights,  clear r-1 taillight & stock taillight,  & a recently re-covered seat. also have a stock airbox & filter if anybody needs one. all off a 1990. i'll take offers on any of it, but will give a deal to anybody who would take it all. i'll probably list it on ebay in a couple weeks if no bites.

I know it's a little off-topic, but is the color of the bike stock or did you have it painted?  If you had it painted, what color is that?  I really like it.  Good luck with the sales.

No Just the tank

it was painted when i bought it. it is a dark blue metallic. i believe it to be a gm color, as i have seen it on some s-10's, etc. cali model plastics are the same, just the tank is different (extra vent tube on bottom & slightly lower capacity) i will post a pic when i am done with it. probably in a couple weeks. putting 2005 plastics, tank, & seat. along with gold motocross bars, dual headlights & chin fairing.

What kind of tank are you putting on here?  Is it a newer GS tank for a 500F? 

I have a 1992 GS500E, got it lowered and running perfect, but the tank liner was flaking out and clogging the fuel system, so I had the tank dipped and re-lined.  When the radiator shop leak tested it, she blew out my tank, and now it doesn't sit flat against the frame. 

I am interested in buying a BRAND NEW tank with no liner problems, but am not sure if I can get the newer F model tank on this bike, as I notice the tabs are different.  Is this what you are using?

Please post a close up of your bike when you're done, as I am curious to see your finished product!!
