After all this time of him knowing me.. and with his constant nagging over cut that fender off, I did so this afternoon.

I cut my fender off!

It looks nice. I managed to put the stock (reflector) on the bottom in there too.

I did several mods and fixing up stuff today. I put in progessive front springs the lazy pablo way. We got the spacers and stuff and noticed that one side had a spacer seat the other didnt. So we had to go match a spacer seat at Home Depot and then reassemble the forks. I also adjusted my handlebars a bit to see if I like the new position, which makes me sit more upright.

I also put in JeffD's LED tail lights, was an very easy mod.. but alas we screwd something up. I used to have LED Licence plate bolts that light up when I hit the brake. They were connected to ground/brake-hot somewhere near the male / female connectors. For JeffD's lights we just split it right behind the bulb housing using quick connectors.

Some how now the LED licnece plate bolts are ALWAYS on, so i got to figure why that happened. Otherwise it was an easy install. It looks cool though otherwise.

I am off for a ride now to see the mods in action.
THe progressive springs have made the front end be higher up  and the bike seems to be handling funny but i will know after a longer faster ride. It feels more comfy over bumps.

Any idea on what I should do with the Stock Springs (front and rear).

I used one of my stock springs in a ball point pen but, it bottomed out when I crossed my 'T's.

Almost lost the front end on Sand cyn...must read more. :bs:
