Buy a used GS, those usually are cheaper than used EX250's cos well the chicks did that full fairing. So do dealers, insurance companies, theives and road rash.

i think you will like the 250.  i sold my gs cuz i was planning on buyin a new bike this spring.  well my wife has been wantin to get into ridin for a year or so, so i came across a good deal on a 01 250 with 6k miles.  so i bought it for her to ride.  since i sold mine an the weather was still beautiful out, i been ridin it, an at first i didn't really like it, but after ridin it awhile(1000k miles in about a month)its a great lil bike, an it has a higher top speed then my gs did.  i have givin her till spring to decide whether she still enjoys riding, an if she opts out, im gonna keep the 250 for myself an do a few mods to tweak a lil more power  an go buy a boat instead
