Hi Everyone,

I'm interested in some 2nd gen sv650 mirrors for my '95 GS. I read on the wiki that these are a direct replacement for the stock mirrors. After looking on eBay, I've mostly seen mirrors that have the newer GS mirror mounts (see photo below). Does anyone know what year sv650 mirrors will fit a '95 GS?

p.s. If anyone has a spare set, please PM. Thanks!

There are two different SV models, the SV650 and SV650S.  The latter has a half-fairing, so it uses GS500F-style mirrors.

So anything with the longer metal mirror, rather than the short plastic one like in the picture you posted, will work.  2nd-gen is '04 and newer.

I use the 2nd gen SV650 (NOT SV650S) mirrors - and I love them!  They're convex so you're able to see quite a bit more.  They also look great on the GS500 too!

Apparently they are a bolt on replacement... if you wanna sell that "extra" pair in your garage, let me know!

Be careful on which mirror you buy:

SV650S --> GS500F
SV650 --> GS500E

If I'm not mistaken the mirrors in that Picture are for the SV650S so they will not work for the GS500E.
