I have layed my bike before but not doing a wheelie(nock on wood) replaced the front end and other bits and I was good to go. These bikes are pretty easy and cosmeticaly easy to fix as far as a drop on its side. If your like me and removed the fairings and added some clip-ons a drop on the side would cost me one bar and a lever and a peg. but thats just me, I only do them once in ahwile------- ok I lied I do them at least once everytime I ride but I dont ride that often-----------------ok I lied I ride everyday :thumb:

Hey bubba what size back tire are going? I love the 150 sportec M-1.

Going the 130/70 sports demon, it was going to be 140/70, but they were too hard to get. I could've got a 140/80, but I thought it would be a bit too tall.

I don't mind the thinner tyres.

Do you have it mounted on stock 3.5" rim or katana 4.5" rim??

There's the technically longer time to get your lean on...  I'm sure it's mathematically provable, but I've never noticed.  I can only compare my 130 BT45 with my 150 Pilot Power, and I just know the Power is way stickier, I think they both turn just as fast.

Stock rim. with the stock tire size the rer felt a bit unstable when leaning to far(not leaning off the bike) I lean off the bike sometime but not all the time, with the 150 in the rear its feels more stable, and once I get chuck's billet fork brace and install it The bike should feel like riding a rock.

thanks for that info. I'm going to buy a set of new tires in the spring to replace the stock BT45s. I think I will go with Pirelli Sport Demons 110/70/10 front and 150/70/17 rear and I will mount that on the stock rim. Then I'll collect some money and eventually I will do the rear wheel swap (I will use rear wheel from suzi katana).

I went with the 150/60/17 so I have less chance of the tire being pinched. Less sidewall=less pinching

I have to say that I'm pretty happy with the 130/70 on the back, after having the 140/70 on. I don't know if it was because the last on was squared off, but it just seems to tip in better & I can seem to get it closer to the edge.

I'm still not sold on the 14 tooth sprocket, I'll give it a few more weeks and see what it's like then.
