04'-07' safety recall

i just got a recall letter from Suzuki stating that the rear fender reflector does not comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. It's not mandatory though. FYI.

this recall was posted on barf a while ago, no biiggy most of the people remove em anyways.

Extremely unsafe, you immediately need to sell that 04-07 (to me) (dirt cheap) before it harms you and everyone around you and some other people faaar away like inside your house too.
OK ... I will make sure It will be not able to harm anyone by putting in this bike dereflectoriser and essentially will be made safe - but sometimes it may take 3-5 years, but it will be driven dammit, I mean done ...

What's the actual problem with the reflector?

Too small, falls off, too low?
