sorry if this has been answered somewhere else, if it has, i haven't found it...

i understand that as far as the turn signals go, the black/white wire is the ground on the L side, the green is the ground on the right.  the black wires are the source.

i just bought short stalk turn signals, they each have a yellow wire and a black.  any idea which is to be connected to source/ground?

thanks in advance for any help!

Take your pick ... plain turn signal bulbs have no "directional smarts" to them as far as the voltage supply goes.  As long as a current passes through the filament (in either direction) the bulb will light.  So ... hook them up whichever way the wiring / splicing / conecting works best for you.

However, if you're talking LED turn signals the wiring does matter.

I'd go black (-) Yellow (+) just because it makes sense in my mind for black to be negative and yellow to be positive .

no, no, they're not LEDs.

thanks much for the help!
