Sledge - this is exactly what I was hoping the fairing would look like on.

So am I right in understanding....   I need the following:

Headlight, mirrors, indicators and all the mounting stuff?

Im blonde, so need a tad more help..... how much mounting stuff do I need and how do I know what to order.  I want to simply hand over everything to the maintenance man and he just needs to fit it.

Any suggestions on where (Glasgow-ish) I can take the fairing to get painted?   Then what about decals, how do I find them - Suzuki direct??

Sorry to be a pest....

Just done a bit of digging and found this. It is the same as mine after all. Plenty of info including contact details on the site, my guess is you should be able to buy any missing parts from a suzuki dealer if you tell them its the TCP fairing or the bottom link lists TCP dealers in the UK.

OK I doubt that that's all you need.
You need to weld in lugs for the fairing brackets to fit to, and the worst is the headlight thingy. It was no picnic.
Cool.

Sesh?
Dont need to weld anything mate, the supports all clamp to the bikes frame and the headlamp support frame is held onto the headstock with a big jubilee (or marmon) clamp for this type of fairing.

Shirl?
First thing to do is find someone who can actually supply you with the missing parts. The TCP website says Ride-on motorcycles in Glasgow is your nearest dealer....01414-240404.

I would contact them, ask for the parts dept, explain the situation you are in and that you require some parts for a TCP fairing but are unsure of what exactly it is you need. I would expect the parts-guy to have a parts-list or a line drawing of the complete fairing for the GS5 on file or microfiche in the same way they do for the bike. From this he should be able to identify which parts it is that you are missing and what it is you require along with the manufactures part numbers and cost. Its no good me listing all the parts or brackets because they will have to be identified in a way the dealer recognises and I just cant do that in this situation........ It would probably be easier to say to them "I need everything except the actual plastic fairing itself" Remember its the type with the rectangular headlamp cut-out, NOT the one with the rounded cut-out.

I dont know of anywhere in Glasgow that will paint the fairing, I am about 200 miles away in Manchester. If you type, Motorcycle paintwork Glasgow, into Google something will turn up. The decals will be probably be available from TCP with the fairing parts, or a Suzuki dealer as a spare part but they will probaly need to know the year and colour of your bike to identify the correct ones.

I really cant think of any more advice to give you or an easier way of doing this given the circumstances we are in but keep us updated and just ask if you need any more advice, its not a problem.
