rear end went loose over a metal grate while turning.
front end later went loose over painted crosswalk.

recovered both fairly easily, but now i know how dangerous slick things can be if you were to encounter them at just the wrong moment.

be safe my rainy season commuter bros!

Yeah i forgot to dry my brakes and didnt stop to my likings when the lights changed. be careful out there in the rain- the worse part is the mud all over your bike

Oh man, I watch out for anything metal, especially when wet, especially if a grate as they can grab stuff (one learns that real fast on a bicycle) and yeah, those lines on the pavement, who'd a thunk it?! And I take turns slow if I see any water or dirt, or if it's an oily turn lane where cars sit and drip. I always stay out of the center of the lane too, except for crossing it if my riding buddy and I swap our staggered lane positions. I don't want oil on my tires!
