1990 GS500EL FOR SALE - WASHINGTON, DC 20032

Well after a little over a year of owning her I am selling my 1990 GS500EL.  Why? Because I bought a bigger bike, a 2008 Ducati 695 Monster.    Here is the run down.

1990 GS500EL - $1,000

25,000 Miles

Cons:

- Will need a new front tire soon. Some meat left still.
- Carburetor will need to be balanced.
- Some scratches and a small chip on the tank.
- Horn does not work.
- Fell over last December at 5 MPH breaking the left turn signal, scratching the crank case cover, and popped off the Suzuki emblem. I replaced the turn signal with a brand new one and painted black over the scratches. If you wanted to replace the emblem it is $9.36 on Ron Ayers.

Pros:

-Vance & Hines Exhaust
-Recently upgraded to a K&N Air Filter.
-Recently replaced clutch plates, springs, and bolts.
-Recently replaced the seat lock.
-Recently replaced the fuel lines.
-Recently replaced the spark plugs with NGK Iridium Spark Plugs.
-Brand new battery.
-Always garaged and/or covered.
-Runs great, no problems.
-Comes with a Clymer manual.


I bought the bike back in July of 2006 for $1,500. Since then, I've kept up with the maintenance such as oil changes, lubing the chain, etc. I have the title. For 17 almost 18 years old, the bike is in great shape. I will get updated pictures very soon. PM me for contact information. According to NADA the bike is worth $799 while according to KBB it is worth $1,435. I am asking $1,000 even. Note the bike is currently located on Bolling AFB in Washington DC.
