HELP another gas tank question

          let me get this right  what year gas tanks will fit and work on my 1989 gs500 thanks anthony

OK.. we can "Let you get it right" You will have to guess some years on your own though  We cant "let you do it" unless you give it a try

these gs500 I am not shure about this is a new bike for me but my gs 1000 is easy I know what tank what heads work what sprockets  but will all gs500 tanks fit my 89 500 ?

89-95 will fit

actually 89-2001 tanks are the same.
They changed the tank, seat and bodywork in 2002.

And the 01+ will fit with minor mods to the seat and I think you need the old 01 and down tank brackets

Only off by one year, Bob.    The change happened in 2001.

Bolt-on replacement tanks would be from 1989 to 2000.
