West Coast Solo Tour: In Need of Hospitality

So my overwhelming urge to pack up and head south from Bellingham, WA (north of Seattle) in search of sunshine and adventure during some time off from college is becoming a reality. Tomorrow, I pack up my lil white '89 GS with the bare essentials to camp and survive. My only planned stops are several nights in Seattle and a stop in Olympia, then wherever I feel led. Judging by the weather reports, I will likely be making as much ground south as quickly as possible to reach some nice weather. My hope is southern California, but I might find some place I'd rather be along the way.

I ask for your help. During my time here, I have seen the generosity of those in this forum with information, gear, and advice. I'll be traveling solo and would really like to get to meet any of you. Not asking for much, just your hospitality. I'm deeply interested in learning about local culture and would love to see what life is like where you live. And beer, good beer. I will definitely be on the lookout for breweries within short drive or walking distance of sleeping areas.

:dunno_white: Cliff notes: I am going solo thru WA, OR, and maybe CA from March 15-30 on my GS and am asking for your hospitality. If you live in any of these places, help a GS brother out with a riding partner, a meal, a couch, or a beer.

Have fun!  If you make it down to San Jose / Los Gatos CA (about 50 miles south of San Fran) be sure to ride highway 9 starting in Saratoga and heading to Santa Cruz.  Very nice twisty road.

Enjoy your trip, and take lots of pics!

Oh, yeah.  Go to Wal Mart and get a road atlas.  It sucks goat balls when you ran off the edge of your map 4 hours ago and can't find the next one!
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?
