Christmas present to myself: Suzuki OEM Chin Fairing! :D (pics)

Well, Christmas was kind of bad for me this year, so I was kind of greedy and splurged on eBay.

One day, browsing around, I found something too good to be true!  It's an OEM suzuki factory chin fairing for the GS500e.

I didn't know how perfect this thing was going to be.  The paint is still sparkling on it like it's never seen sunlight.  All mounting hardware was included, and sealed in individual Suzuki baggies.

2 sets of decals were included... red and grey, and black and grey.

The price tag was still wrapped around it too:


I made out like a bandit and only paid $80 shipped   The guy actually lived in the next city over (Myrtle Beach, SC)

I wanted to share the excitement with someone, and noone would understand it other than you guys...  so here's some pics.  They're kind of bad, I got the GS parked in my messy back porch, and it's night outside, and raining... so the pics aren't the best..

It's a thing of beauty...except for the rusty pipes.  But I should talk...I just got mine 6 months ago and if it weren't for scratch helping me put a new set of pipes on, I'd still have rusty pipes and a scratched muffler too.

What a score! Looks great!  you should paint it yellow and then add the decals

I got hold of a Universal Belly pan of ebay.co.uk , i payed 35 pounds shipped , with all mounts . and its going to be painted

Now...  do I paint the chin fairing, or do I paint the rest of the bike LOL..
the clear on the tank is cracked and coming up on the suzuki letters... the front fender has some scuffs and stuff.. all from the PO of course..

I might not worry about the paint, it might be too expensive.  we'll see.
