Can carbs from an '05 gs500 f be used on a '92 500 e ?

yes, they will work but you will either need an the throttle assembly or some ingenuity as they are set up for a dual cable throttle

I believe its a pull push setup.  so if you want you can eliminate the top one and leave the bottom.  DOnt Quote me on this though

Just find the attachment point on the carbs that opens the butterfly valve and attach your cable to it.   It SHOULD be as easy as that, just make sure the spring return feels pretty stiff..............

Try an SV650 throttle tube.My 1/5 turn throttle tube is set up for push pull.

You will need the whole assembly to have the second cable housing.

Just get a dual cable GS throttle assembly. Or run it with 1 cable, as long as the spring has a positive return.
