Anyone have one?  Curious what it would look like installed in the frame. :dunno_white:

Reason...
I am finally putting together a 569 motor for my track bike. Using black GS450 cases and an unpainted clutch cover. The stator cover needs to be stripped, so I could leave it raw. No desire to polish but may use a scotchbrite pad to give it a brushed look. Yeah I know it will oxide a little, no worse than how the clutch cover looks now. The sprocket cover will be stripped as well.

Opinions?

on a side note... do NOT use a screwdriver to jam between the side covers and the case to remove them. There are tabs for this. I have a set of ruined case that someone had butchered by doing this. I was going to use them for this build but luckily I had another set of cases. They may end up as a mock-up motor.

Common sense in not very common.

Jim had some on one of his bikes

If you meant just the round outer cover I have pics of bikes w/ that too  :thumb:

That is what I was wanting to see.

Looks like the paint is going to stay on the shelf.
