That shock is the right year and model bike. Should fit if it is as described. You should check out Joris' site for a complete and thorough install how-to. You will need to grind away a bit of the shock linkage if you dont have a 89-90 model. 89-90 fit no grinding.  No, you cannot use the gsxr shock linkage.

Make sure you get a shipping price before you bid. Could be too much.
