sv650 headlight assy on F model?

Hi all,

I'm converting my F model to a naked bike and need to get the appropriate headlight assembly on there. I've read conflicting accounts about how easy it is to fit an sv650 headlight assembly to the gs500. Perhaps this is because some don't specify whether you are trying to get it on an F or E model? Does anyone have a definitive answer (as in they've done it, know someone who has, or know that it can be done)? Here are the conflicting posts I've read:

You need the tube mounts, and brackets from an E model, and then you can use the actual headlight housing from an SV650.
