I have fun.  I get home and low and behold, the fanny pack is unzipped and the wallet is missing.. I mustve left the zipper open, flung the fanny pack to my backside while riding (so the tank doesnt scratch), and its gone.  Very pissed.

a suppose an early call to the bank or an online email to them and any credit cards you have are in order then huh? bummer bout that dude. i know kinda how you feel. the wife left her purse in the car on the night before our wedding. we lived in an apartment complex that had security cameras so we hardly every locked our car doors. won't make that mistake again. purse was gone next morning. thieves hit several cars that night. got em on video but not good enough to clearly show their idendity. now, on a positive note, your wallet may be found by a Good Samaritan who'll return it to you fully intact. i've had friends who've had this happen to them. it's rare but you never know.

ya Im hoping someone will mail it to me when they see theres nothing special to steal.  Just a wallet with a ATM card which barely has any money on it, no bills in the wallet, and just a bunch of business cards and such..

Did you try going back and looking? I know it might be a long shot, but I lost sunglasses oin the side of the road. about half an hour later I went back and they were still there. I realize thats different than a wallet, but who knows.

I also lost my wallet when I was in Germany. That was a result of a drunken stupor though. The police called from two towns away with it. They found it in a gutter. Sweet!

haha ya I rock the fanny pack on the gs.  Before this I thought it was a great way to pack my stuff seeing I cant afford a tank bag or the like yet.  And I dont have to wear my backpack..

But I found the wallet!   :icon_mrgreen: I passed the waverly hotel on my ride last night.  It mustve fallen out when I passed over the speed bumps and I stood up on my bike (maybe).  Anyhow, the security gaurds mustve seen it laying on the road and they called me this morning.  Thank the heavens.

I dont know if I want to sport the fanny anymore after this lesson.  Well see.

lol here is a pic of me with the fanny pack:

lol took me a minute with the pikachoo..  I didnt think it was that bad... the fanny pack.  I actually dont care how cool it doesnt look.  I liked it, till it dropped my wallet.  But that WAS my fault.  I didnt zip it.
