El motociclista

Saw this on CL today looking at bikes. Some guy is looking to film motorcycle riders in Los Angeles. He's looking for regular riders, not racers or stunters, to do a documentary on. Here's the link to his site:

i would be cautious his myspace title has "lanesplitting" in the title. take it from me reporters and other media types can easily twist a story in a completely differant direction than a unexperienced subject may expect.

Or it might be a good idea to have good voices of reason to talk about lanesharing...  :thumb:

Exactly.  The fact that this is in CA, the only state where it is legal, and not some other state, leads me to question whether the director is for or against lane-sharing.  It doesn't take much to get things like this banned.  I would ask to see a draft of the documentary before allowing my footage to be added to it.  In other words, don't sign a release until you have an idea of what your place in the final documentary will be.  If he's not OK with that, I'm sure he can find someone else.  I wouldn't want to be the stooge who ruins an efficient way to get around traffic for everyone.
