What do you think about these? Any down side to putting them on or anything?

Downside?  You mean besides the prices at the bottom of that page?  :o

Forgetting the money for the moment, the main downside (for me) would be dropping my bike on these brand-new plastics because of a lack-of-riding-experience incident.  You might want to put, oh, a couple thousand miles on the bike before going this route.

But hey - that's just me.  I have no experience with the Titan kit or fairings in general ... unless you call my [Plexistar II] a "fairing".

You should be able to pull up a good number of relevant threads by searching on "titan" or "titan kit".

Thrash dude - its is a POS. I have had that fairing, I gave it to a good cause (werase643's junk pile) before moving to houston - Yea, that clown scrunched his geo metro under my moving truck for shits and giggles when he came by to pick it up.
Anyway, the only fairing worth fitting onto a GS IMHO is the 04+ fairing. I have done it, average is doing one right now complete with a Kat 600 FE and IMHO, its just about the only way to do it. Its not easy or cheap though ... but it is possible and the end result looks good. With or without the tank/seat/tail combo of the 04 it looks good.
Cool.

A black brush, and a white brush. Firm bristles on the black one, soft bristles on the white one. Use the black one on the greasy grimy bits, use the white one on the pretty painted bits.

There's one booth at the local car wash that the owner doesn't mind people using for grimier things. For the really nasty things (chain/cogs/wheels) it's a can of WD-40 and a brush over a bucket for me. WD-40 is fantastic for cleaning wheels too. ;) Just mind the tires.

cool thanks. Is it any harm to spray down the rear sprocket with high pressure water?

One thing you should not do ... spray the chain or the neck area or the swingarm pivot area with a pressure washer.
You dont want to drive the grease out and put water in.
