Cool :)

Ya, the gs is 'quick' as compared to cars/trucks and snowblowers. When compared to modern sportbikes like gsx-r 600's, forget it. It'll make a mustang humble, and a camaro cough. Anything other than a scooter will toast it on two wheels.

Before you right it off though, play in the twisties. That's where the real fun is. Oh, and the reliability of it. Aside operator induced errors on mine, I've had only one hiccup during my owning a gs.

Lots of fun, cheap as weeds, and doesn't mind a little abuse.  :thumb:

You can post pictures if you host them somewhere like photobucket, picasa, or whoever, and use the little 'picture' button up there ^^^ to link to it. :)

Why not to reline the tank with Por-15? Should be an inexpensive fix.

I bought my 1st GS last May.It may not be able to keep up in the streights, but in the curves,it shines.I can keep up with the big bikes and out handle most squids. My bike has never let me down.It has had some minor hiccups, but nothing major.
Just remember any tank will fit your bike.I got a 04 on my 89.
PICS are GONE never TO return.

I found a tank on craigslist.org in san diego and it is on its way so let the games begin  Anthony
