I'll have you know I have at least 7 chest hairs that I can count  :flipoff:  although I think I may have sacrificed one of them to the tattoo.

I guess that makes me six-sevenths the man I was before I got it

My first was a half sleeve that went over my shoulder bones, vibrated down my collar bone, through my breastbone and into my ribs on the other side. It was the third session (10 hours, 3 sessions) and the SOB just started right in on my shoulder bones instead of somewhere else to let me build some endorphins first, the sadistic bastard.. I have a strong meditation technique, thankfully. Every time I was in the shop, there was some big muscle bound guy (different guy each time) getting a little bicep tire patch, red faced, grimacing, and trying not to cry, LOL!!!! It was hysterical.

Not that YOU guys aren't brave..!   :icon_mrgreen:

Keep that red out of the sun while it's healing. I used Neosporin on my ink for the first two days, it kept the inflamation down and causes less scabbing, which will pull out the color. Then you can use a non scented hyperallergenic lotion. After it is completely healed, put a high SPF on that ink if you go out in the sun. Red fades the fastest and it's also the most susceptible to allergic reactions and photosensitivity. That's why keep it out of the sun while healing. If it ever hives up on you later get some Benadryl cream on it. If it itches while it's healing, and it will, don't scratch!! Slap it gently until it stops!   It's just a counter irritant to the nerves so they forget the itch. Scratching will also mess up your color. I had to have my leg redone almost by half ( a huge thigh piece), just because some of the color was too deep and scabbed too deep, it pulled ink out, and I didn't scratch or rub it.

Looks very nice, I think you picked the best place too, I would have made it a little bigger but I like em big, maybe because I waited 25 years for mine.  8)
It's a really nice start to build other images around later.

Thanks Teek.

I wanted to keep the size down so that I had a chance to consider embellishing it later, making it a little more unique and personal.  I'm not sure if I will, but for now the size and placement are perfect.  I can wear a beater and it is still concealed.
