My idle screw is gone

I got the bike out for the first time in a few months and rode it for maybe 5 miles. The idle seemed to get real high and stick around 4K. When i reached down to see what was goin on with the screw I saw it was not there. It must of fell off on the ride. Any place that I can buy one of these online that you guys know of?

Wait, doesn't the idle screw essentially act as a stop for the throttle on the closed side? If the stop goes away, don't you idle really low because the butterfly valves close too much? I guess if the butterflies went past closed and started to open in the other direction, but I don't know if they do that when the screw is gone, I haven't tried it...

Not really... You can look where the throttle cable actually attaches to the butterfly valves, but without having another one to look at, it wouldn't help too much... Taking the airbox off is a pain too, my project bike has the stock airbox and it took me way too long to realize the Clymer manual I have forgot to mention that you can't get the airbox out without taking the petcock off the frame... if the screw is gone and that does let the butterflies close then start to open again in the other direction, you should get this really strange behavior right off idle where the engine speed drops before it starts to go up as the butterflies close all the way then start to open again.
