The GS is gone!! sniff...sniff...

Well it took a while, but I finally sold my 1996 GS500.  I was happy with it and was going to keep it a while, but I found a steal on a 2004 DL650 back in November.  I had the GS on Craigslist since then, but no one was interested.  I guess December and January are bad months to sell a motorcycle.  I took it for a final ride Friday.  On Saturday, someone finally ponied up the cash and rode it off into the sunset.  It was sad seeing it go.     I love my DL650 (especially the fuel injection and liquid cooling  ) but I'll always have a soft spot for the little air-cooled twin that could.  I'll continue to lurk on this site.  It has great info even if you don't have a GS.
