So... I was riding the bike yesterday for the first time in two weeks. It wasn't long before something didn't feel right. It felt as though the tyres were dramatically under-inflated, and I was noticably wobbling in what were very mild winds. I'm so used to feeling rock solid on my GS, this came as quite a surprise. I stopped, check tyre pressure and it was fine. I spun both wheels and they spin true.

I initially put this down to having not used it for a while, but I'm sure it was more than that. What else can I check that would cause the symptoms I've described? I'll keep riding if you guys think I'm imagining it, but any checks I can make for my own peace of mind would be great - I can't enjoy my bike without trusting it first.
Mods thus far:

14 tooth front sprocket
Complete paint job, red to black
Oxford heated grips
Fenderectomy
GSXR foot pegs

...much more to come!

i'm expecting my bike to ride 'weird' if i ever get it going again. why you ask ?

sitting on the sidestand for a few weeks, in the cold. the tires take a while to warm up and if they've sat long enough, will deform.

check your chain adjustment, swing arm play, head bearings. i'll bet the chain is out, and the bearings are a  little worn/loose, not to mention the tires sat a while. :)
