So the past few rides I have been noticing what sounds like a lean pop when I crack the throttle at idle, like when pulling up to a stop light I always give it a little rev. Well today when leaving work I noticed a pretty bad bog and assumed I just did not let him warm up (Yes Bumblebee is a boy bike). It only seemed to get worse as I road on surface streets and then when on the freeway it got really bad. When I would put my head down towards the motor it seemed louder on the left side. Won't rev much past 6500 RPM and is totally gutless. I ended up having to pull off the freeway a few miles from my exit and limped to a parking lot. First thing I noticed was the smell of a really hot motor. I checked the oil and it was low but not off the stick. I let it sit for a few and them went to a gas station and topped it off with fresh oil (over filled a bit actually). I then limped home on the back streets. I have not taken a look yet as I am really hot and having some wine right now but I hope that maybe it is an intake boot. I can really hear the left side combustion through the intake I think when running. If I don't see something obvious I will post a vid...

Fingers crossed!!

OK so I finally had a chance to take a look, I pulled the plugs and the right side was fouled and the left side looked light tan. I am thinking I maybe have an ignition issue with the right side. Any troubleshooting suggestions?

Stuck float ? Leaky float ...
I doubt you got ignition issues. Those act up when hot, and work fine when cold.
Try testing it properly ...

OK so I finally got back to this project, I put my manometer on it an found that the right side had way more vac than the left, pulled the tops of the carbs and the diaphragm on the right carb was ripped. easy fix, part was in stock at the local shop and I was running in minutes! Yay!
