The Amazon.com link basically is a referral link. You can buy anything you want as long as you go through that link first and buy it. Basically it gives the site a bit of $ to run it. This site has been without advertisements. There was a time it was mooted but it was decided this was a better way to do it. Keep it ad free and spam free.

I've used the amazon.com link for books, cameras, home stuff. GSTwin gets a cut of it. That cut goes to operating the site - which for the most part is bandwidth. You wouldnt believe for a site that is just text and hardly any graphics, the forum pushes out a good 30gb/mo at least.
