Taking the carbs apart for the umpteenth time this project, I got lazy and tried to open up the tops (needle side) while the carbs were still on the bike.  :nono: As careful as I tried to be, I managed to lose both of those little o-rings that sit on top of the carburetors right under the covers.  Anybody know what size those are or where I can get some replacements?

Unfortunately, I dont remember what size they are.  Someone else might have one available to measure the cord diameter.  Once you know that, a trip to the local industrial supply should result in something serviceable.
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

Mine were 'dry-rotted' when I saw them for the first time.

I got othe O-rings of about the same size, but were way to thick.  The diameter was okay, but the thickness was wrong.

I got an exacto knife and sliced it in half.  Almost half.  I got 2 of them that fit pretty darn close if not exact.

I also had a problem with the seals on teh bowls not sealing correctly and fuel spilling.  At least leaking overnight.  I got got some 'seal-a-gasket' and made a small hole to make a thin bead. It has worked out well, as I Have had to open the carbs again recently, and it was okay.

laterz, and good luck.
