Google, Yahoo, Ask, searching getting harder?

Maybe its just me, maybe i search for random things. But the last few times i want to find stuff out on the internet i just get tonnes and tonnes and tonnes and tonnes of bollocks come up in search engines.

Has anyone else found the same?

It just seems that before you could just type in stuff you wanted to find and get aload of hits that were useful, now searching the internet is just a pain in the arse, you want to find anything out you have to first select the appropriate search engine then you have to get into detail of marking phrases and wildecards etc etc... all just to get 1 bajillion hits you have to trawl through to find the information you want.

When you want to find something out it always used to be on page 1 of google or yahoo, now im regularly finding myself back on page 2 or 3 because the first pages are just full of hits from adverts or what have you.

The internet is a wealth of information just if you want to find out anything a little bit more indepth its just a hassel to find. Its infact become easier to go look in the library for a book to tell me what i want to know because i know when i search for the book in the library computer and get it off the shelf it has exactly what i want to know. Not just recognised my search phrase and brings me up a web page which i click on to find some forum or some utterly unrelated website where they have simply got the same phrase in. Grrrr the internet is just a fooking pain.

Does anyone else think its becoming too hard to find information out on the internet due to there been too much crap getting caught up into everything else? do you think its easier to just go get a book out?

hell, try to find yourself on the web......24 pay sites will help you find you....all info you used to be able to find for free 5 yrs ago
