FREE: Slightly not round front wheel

I have a somewhat egg-shaped front wheel without tire.  (Seems to be 1/4" out of round, but that's just by spinning and eyeballing it, so may not be accurate.)

If you think you can true it up or you have any other use for it, it's free + actual shipping cost.  Send me your zip code and I'll calculate shipping.

Chuck

I just found two bent fork tubes to go with it.  (Yes, I'm cleaning my garage today.)  Also free + shipping.  The upper tubes are bent, the lowers "look" "okay."  Caveat emptor, they're free.

All parts are from 2001.

Hey, I got 2 brake disks wore to 3mm or so, 1 front end that is rusted to hell, a frame that is bent and doesn't have a title, and my friend has a motor that seized up cos it only had a cup of oil, and yea I got 2-3 carb sets with most parts taken off, and they got busted pilot jet and/or float towers.
So, How's $300 and shipping for it all. hey some idiot may buy it ... much like some dumbass on craigslist selling a 90-91 GS without title and like 20K miles and it looked like sheite (averagey - OK fine) for 2K. Yea dumbass, in perfect condition and a full straight title, they're barely worth 12-1300. In summer.
Cool.

I need the top caps off the forks (the bolts you take off w/the ratchet drive)... but I think they may not fit from an 01  :dunno_white:

I will also take the springs if they are OK. If you have em let me know.

The heads on the caps are different styles (1/2" socket vs the bolt on the 2004+) but I think the size and thread are the same.  The springs are probably ok, but they're crappy spongy 2001 springs.  I'll put the in a box and see how much it will cost to ship, if you want 'em.

Another happy customer.  Thanks for the beer, Scott.  Well if no one wants the wheel, it's going in my town's scrap metal collection.  There is now nothing left of value to the fork tubes, especially since I had to park my car on them to get the caps off, so they're going, too.

It wasn't any trouble at all after I figured it out.

After my vise started bending, with the tube still turning freely as I tried to unscrew the cap, I said man, I need something high-friction like rubber, and a ton of force in order to hold this still.

The light bulb went off (hmmm, a ton of force on rubber?), and my wife wasn't around to see me, so I just went out to the driveway, and rolled my Subaru onto each tube one by one, and easily unscrewed the caps.
