a helpful post superman err graham, i figure weve got many posts in the past telling us how to make this better or that better. all of which were a spamwich smothered in BS sauce. so ben prolly jumped the gun a bit. that aside. have you got any ideas as to maintain mc seats? tips, anything? :thumb:

^ yeah I figured that much with a post count of 3 on my behalf. The same process applies. Vinyl is very weak, over time the sun kills it. This slows it down significantly, but the best thing to do with these vinyl seats is to do this process every oil change or so, and keep the seats out of the sun/harsh climate conditions. ^ Doing those will make the seat last as long as the bike does in my expeience.

 :nono: I put armor all on my seat  :o that was fun trying to stay on the Bike :icon_lol: So used a soap and brush to get the armor all off. and now I'm not sure what to
use that is not slick as  :dunno_white:.. for now I just keep it clean!!

yes ive done the armor all thing as well on my sportster. i had to hit my brakes hard, and my nuts hit the tank  :mad: :mad:

Thats what I use at the track, "getting off the seat" and sliding around on it has never been easier.  :thumb:
but yeah I agree, for street driving armor all and other vinyl shines can be a gong show. That and waxing the tank.  :icon_confused:
