What effects would this have on performance?  I've heard people comment on lack of back pressure etc.  If you were to chop the exhaust like that, how could you prevent the back pressure problem?  Could you put a washer in there like what srinath does with his flanges?

I Have no idea but that gs500 sounds like a canal boat. Rough or what.

This will make the engine run super lean( freest flowing can is no can at all  :icon_razz: ) so you would have to rejet with largest pilots and mains

so forget about fuel economy with this one , how much more performance? I think not much more if not less than a proper race can and a rejet
