Top gear at redline (11k~ish) is 108mph...but it's short stroke engine and you can scream her up to around 15k before you float the valves haha.

Absolutely not.  Not this bike.  I think the CX looked too...ordinary...as a stock bike.  Now, if I find like an old CB100 or a Vincent or something, then yeah.

Last night I did some tinkering and got my new valve covers, bar clamp, and pegs on.  I also shot the tank with some cheap black and I hosed the wheels down in some gold paint over black gloss (makes it a bit deeper).  Lots of over spray on the tires but it's all good.  Later I'll take the wheels apart and get them painted properly.  I need to strip the tank completely down before really caring too much about it, too.

I've had a couple honda dirt bikes and atvs.You can ride the weee out of them.When everything breaks down on them, the engine is still running on.
