Best temperature to paint

I'm going to be painting a few parts on my bike with a rattle can. Problem is, it's only in the mid 40's here. Is that too cold to paint? What is the ideal temperature range for painting?

Yes.  Most paints specify a minimum of 60F with an ideal temperature of 70-75F
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

I use rattle cans in the cold cold british winters, Just put them in a bucket of hot water for an hour before you use them, seems to work well for me. An old guy at a local bodyshop told me that years ago and I find I get a much better finish with a warm rattle can.
