Noticed that the little tabs from the front brake light switch were bent sideways almost 90 degrees and there was a bit of bare tab showing. That was right next to the upper triple (I have cut and shaped the lower bar clamp to allow the mounting of Hurricane clip-ons.) I wonder if it might have been shorting there. I straightened them out, pushed the connector on fully, and put some tape over it. 80 miles tonight, no problems.
