I've got a 2002 GS500 and I'm getting some rust-colored spots on the exhaust pipes.  Any cleaning/prevention suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Wait till it gets to be annoying.  Take off the muffler.  Sand, Repaint.

-theres nothing you can do.  Sorry.  Its mainly from rocks on the ground chipping off the paint, and then rust starts.

When it's cool, wash the bike or just the area of the exhaust, let dry, and then use Nevr-Dul on it.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.
