Ok so I took the bike apart today to give it a good cleaning & replace the fuel lines.

I disassembled one of the carbs, took out all the parts, and hosed it down with carb cleaner.  It actually didn't look bad at all inside, nothing I'd call thick varnish, no obvious stuff inside that would foul things up.  I also drained the tank and pulled the main valve thing and the internal filter looked clean.

I started putting it back together, cannot get the needle valve seat back into it's spot.  It just won't go in.  I haven't busted out the vice grips or anything yet, but it definitely seems harder than it should be.

Any thoughts?  Do I need to replace the o-ring?

Yes, you prob need a new O ring  :thumb: esp. if you got carb cleaner on it  :thumb:

You usually get the seat w/ the O ring  :thumb:
