anyone got a stock can laying around for sale?

i have my stock exhaust off my '04, you looking for just the can or the whole thing?  It's pretty scratched up.  Unfortunately it's at my fiance's house and I won't be going up to visit until next weekend.

how scratched up is it i just need the can there is a way to get it to mount up to the stock pipe right?

its pretty beat up, not to the point where its performance is affected, but it would take a good deal of sanding and refinishing to get it to look nice.   As far as reattaching to the stock pipe, the entire stock exhaust system is one piece so i would have to saw off the can and you would have to attach it somehow, through welding or other means.

I have a stock system off of a '96. As far as I can remember it is in great condition. I'm at school right now, so the soonest I could get pics would be friday the 11th. Could ship the next day if you're interested.

Someone else will have to chime in about fitment, as I'm not positive.
Are you wanting the whole system? Or just the can and part of the mid pipe? If you want I can cut the system up to whatever you need. That will cut down shipping costs. How does $25 plus shipping sound?

I also have a stock can from an '01 lying around.  The hanger bolt fell out so the can is cracking slightly at the weld between the conical part and the midpipe.  It's cut on the midpipe though, so if you take it to a shop and get it welded on, you could also get the crack welded.  I'll get pics tomorrow.

Also, the midpipe on a '04+ is wider than the midpipe from before, so it won't match exactly.  With a weld it'll still fit, but for aesthetics you may care.

That's perfect. I was planning on posting up to see if anybody wanted it. Probably going to head home thursday evening, so I'll  be able to ship friday.
