Screw on Fuel Cap?

Just got my Sling Shot Racing cap in, and am curious about a couple things, mayhaps those who are using them could answer?

1st: How does the cap vent?

2nd: When I looked at my GS, the tank opening was centered in the middle of the cap area, this one has the tank spigot and gasket offset by 5mm from center?

on my vortex on there is a ball and spring mechanism and you have to line that up with the venting hole on the tank when you install it. But the springs on the vortex gas caps too hard so I had fuel stravation problems from not being abale to vent. Thanks to dygver I was able to fix this...

Is your vortex setup with an offset on the fill hole?

I am still waiting for mine to come, but the vortex due have an offset hole for filling. But the hole is also smaller, so it should still work.

What is the problem that you are having with it? Does it not fit?

Haven't mounted it yet, bike is locked away at the shop so I can't get to it at the moment... so I'm bench wrenching in the mean time. : )
