Ok so before i had my wreck yesterday

i would find my self sometimes having to twist the throttle a little bit more than usual to get a rev.

and some times i would twist it and it would'nt rev at all.

Could this be a sign of major issues? :dunno_white:

not starvation. starvation means your petc0ck is crappy/clogged/etc and at higher revs (or in worst cases all revs) it just fails to deliver enough fuel to keep the bike running.

twisting and little or no change means your jets are clogged, floats too low (or high) or you're just way to rich or lean. yes, it can cause major issues over time.

connect a clear line to your drains and make sure you have fuel flow, then check your float height. there are pictures on the forum somewhere. 'float height' should yeild them.

your TANK petc0ck is fulling vertical right ? Just a LITTLE bit off can cause problems :)

On the back of what ohgood mentioned, there is a good writeup on how to check your float height here: http://www.bbburma.net/FloatHeight.htm
