Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

I love the way they parked it!

I know right!?

They could have at least leaned it against a tree...

I cracked up when I saw this add, probably make a few bucks parting it out.  :dunno_white:

Pics suck on that ad, if that's a stock 4 into 1 exhaust then it's the CB750F. 4 valve 750 instead of 2 valve motor. For 100 bucks I would snap it up in a heartbeat.
Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.

bucks go get that CB...4~1 or not the exhaust still will cover your investment.  REbuilt forks go for about $150.  The handlebars themselves are worth about 20.  Carbs = $75~150, depending on if they;re flats or flies.  Engine is worth a couple hundred even if you don't know if it's good...and say as much.

I'll email the guy, see if he still has it. This would give me a nice summer project, with a decent profit.

Still no response, but I've been doing some research on old CB's. A lot of the parts on ebay that go for high amounts are sandcast, how would I be able to tell if this CB had sandcast parts? I'm in the process of creating a profile at a Honda forum, so hopefully I'll be able to get some answers there.

Sand cast parts have a rough i.e. sand papery finish to them.

That's a 79~84 750....no sandcast.  It has comstar wheels.

I was looking at some pics from different years, and I was starting to sadly come to that realization.  Still worth it to part out though, right?

It just means thta the motor is worth $100~200...instead of $400~ish.  Old bikes have something in common...they all rust.  People want tanks, exhausts, handlebars, seat pans, swingarms, unpitted forks and axles, and so forth.  Sometimes you have to hang onto some parts for a while but it's worth it.  You'll be able to recoup your investment plus a few cases of beer, minimum.

I saw this today and couldn't resist sharing. This guy has his bike priced at $3,000. But it needs new plugs, so he'd be willing to drop it down to $2,900. But if he replaces the plugs then it'll go up to $3,500....cause he doesn't have the time or tools to do it.
