This Is the 5th Annual SportBike Extravaganza in Iraan Texas on April 19th. Last year attendance was down due to some scarey weather we "only" had about 500+ bikes! This year we are hoping for close to 1000 bikes.
Heres the cool part,

So wheres the catch right?
Well we raffle off around $3500 worth of gear every year with the proceeds going to the Iraan Senior Citizens Center.

Basically just a around fun time for all .

Just joined up?? Dude you were here when I joined the forum over a year ago. And as I recall stiffed a few members on parts they payed you for, maybe I'm confused, maybe not, I just remember a few threads asking if anyone knew you because people were waiting on their parts they bought from you.

Generally I would agree with you frankie, but srad here just dropped off the radar with other members money in his pocket and apparently expects no one to remember it now. Just my way of making the board aware of a situation.

SRADkneedragger

wow! that hurts so lets divide this into apples and oranges.
Apples being the Rally not MY deal just pimpin to the sportbike crowd.

Now lets get to the oranges:

I bought a Gs500 about a year ago with the intent of building it. Turns out the motor was siezed. So I came here and parted it. I made the mistake of getting in over my head with the sale because everyone jumped on the thing at once wanting parts. So I got behind on tearing it apart and shipping. To my knowledge EVERYTHING that sold got shipped eventually although in some cases it did take over a month to send parts. Now if there is someone on this site that I sold a part and they did NOT recieve it I will mail a cash (PayPal) refund within 5 days! I think we all have dealt with scammers and ripoffs and would like to get our hands on one. The fact here is simply that I was very tardy in getting parts shipped due to the volume of stuff that sold.

ohgood

i read both links provided -

one of the threads is still unanswered.

the other thread doesn't say (unless I missed the summary) if the parts ever arrived, only that UPS may have botched the delivery. i've seen shipments from the right coast to the left coast take >9 days before. keep in mind ONE particular shipment from me (tampa, fl) made it all the freaking way to OREGON in less than 3 days. usps/ups/fedex, hell it's a crapshoot with shipping each time. :)

i also noticed the user in question that parted the bike did make a good faith promise to refund the total + $25 bucks to anyone proving a transfer gone wrong/missing/whatever. that's pretty cool, you know, if it happens :)

shipping stuff all over the US (and beyond ouch) means tampa to NYC = 2 days on one shipment, over 2 weeks on the next. california ? hell that has taken a month before !

let's see how it plays out. :)

Like I said I will refund any proven loss +$25 and await any replies

fair enough, id be willing to say  id give him a shot, if i were one being err not having stuff payed for. things happen. but anyhoo hell i dont know. i guess well see if it plays out. whoever didnt get their items, get in touch via pms with this cat. ;ets not try to make  it public, unless there are NO alternatives. ive seen waaaaay too many forums destroyed because of this. destroyed or divided. ive always used the "going public" route, as a route of last resort

why take a perfectly good bike and ruin it by adding two extra wheels? :nono:

I've ridden the Quad/Blackbird and make no bones about it it's stupid fast and stupid fun but the one thing it IS NOT is a motorcycle.
It doesn't lean it tracks strangely it's hard to turn and not nearly as fast as a stock Blackbird. If for some reason I couldn't ride on 2 this might be a great option, If I had a spare SportBike laying around maybe but as a replacement for 2 wheels that I can ride and lean,,,, no way! Think of it more as an "Open Car" and less as  a Motorcycle!
