I wanted to buy the GX air by Cortech, but apparently it's been taken out of their lineup.  So what's considered the best now?

Joe Rocket Mesh jackets are my favorite. I lowsided in a phoenix 2.0 at around 35 miles an hour and it was like nothing. Even though the bike tumbled on me the jacket has so much padding that it is very protective.

tour master draft: lowsided my Triumph at 40 mph, not a sctratch on my upper body, but a heckuva hematoma on my left thigh... ouch...

I liked the GX air because it had the leather overlays on all the important bits, which I assume is a major plus.  Not to mention, they looked pretty damn good.  Why they would take them off the market when I finally get the money to buy a bike.. I don't know.

I have the GX Air and love it. The good thing is, now you can get it for just over $100 on closeout.  :thumb:

I second on GX Air jacket. Love mine yellow! Have it for the third seasons and it is great to have 3 layers (mesh, windbraker, warmer) to mix and match for the weather. Machine washable, too. Save yourself $50-70 a year on drycleaning. I will prolly' get a new silver one while it lasts.

NewEnough bought out the last of the GX Air, and they don't have my size.  Hence why I'm looking for the next best thing.

At my stealership they just got in a bunch of Gx Airs. I have one and I enjoy it too! They are 199 though. They are a big seller at least at the dealership. They sold three the day I got mine. {I don't recommend the Cortec gloves the first pair ripped in a week and the second pair rubbed blisters within a week.)  I guess I had better take real good care of mine. I've had it since August and in Florida we really don't have "riding seasons".
