Due to remarks made on the Iraan SportBike Extravaganza thread I am posting this to clarify somethings. I have no reason to Post the Rally other than to spread the word to fellow riders and hope that whatever false accussations some one has made towards me have no reflection on the Rally itself. Having said that:

I parted a GS500 here around 1 year ago and to my knowledge shipped EVERY single part to the buyers. Now I will reply with this comment:
IF YOU bought a part from me and did not receive it, I will refund 100% of your $$$ and $25 for your inconvenience IF you can prove you are the original party and bought from me. Come on don't try to scam me because you thought I scammed someone else!
I still have quite a few parts from this bike but it proved to be such a pain I never sold the remaining parts(engine lower end rear body panels, triples)
Here is a COMPLETE list of PM's I received had in my mail box and as you see there is NO comment about not receiving parts.

Sorry for the delays I've been playing catch up at work from the sick days and trying to finish dismantling the bike. Your parts are pulled and set aside. There are two options ship UPS or send on a greyhound bus in which case you will have to go to the Bus Station and pick them up. I THINK the Bus MAY be cheaper I'm going to check both to see I need the City where you are located so I can get price quotes on the shipping. Let me know if you have a preference in how it's sent. As soon as I know where you are I can get you a price !
Thanks

Hey, I also need a cdi / ignition module. Do you have this as well? Also, I would prefer UPS on the exhaust and throttle. Let me know payment instructions.

Thanks,

Great. I want it also.  The cdi is on the Ron Ayers web site and it is called a signal generator. The item in the ron ayers picture is # 1 and typically located on the side of the subframe under the seat.
http://www.ronayers.com/fiche/300_0027/signal_generator/signal_generator.cfm?man=su&groupid=3080&parent=3070

Send me a total and I will pay today.

Thanks,

Yeah it shipped out last week should be arriving any day now.  A note on the fairing, I have tried many different ways to repair plastic over the years from epoxies to glues I even bought 2 different types of plastic welders, nothing ever had better than fair results. By coincidence a guy I bought a wrecked ZX6 from showed me what may be the best plastic repair available AND its CHEAP!
Go to WalMart to the home improvement dept look for the glues. There you should find DEVCON brand High Strength  PLASTIC WELDER. grey and white card with a blue strip across the top this is a 2 part epoxy and works better than anything I have ever seen. Just scuff the repair surfaces up with some coarse sandpaper as this gives the glue a better bite. I have even built up complete missing areas with this stuff it's amazing.
Anyway let me know when the stuff arrives as for a windsheild you can make one from cardboard then use that to cut a template from plexiglass and heat the plexiglass to bend it

hey!  just checking to see if this shipped.  i have an interesting plan for the front fairing.

awesome!  thanks for the advice.  i'm going to try to repair it and see how it looks.  however, i may end up using it as a template for a custom fiberglass fairing, something with a cafe racer style to is, but with some flow to the GS tank and frame.

similar to this in spirit:

Hey, I saw your post (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=34231.0) and was interested in taking the headlight assembly off of your hands. I'm wondering though, do you have all the hardware needed to mount it? I'm taking the fairing off my 2005, and need the whole setup. If the $20 doesn't include the hardware, I'll pay more.

If it's still available, can you reply with total including shipping to 92780 and your paypal address? I'm eager to get to work.

Thanks,
Devin

Forks I know were shipped because they were drained of oil and wrapped individually then placed in one box. Headlight assy I don't really remember. But as I said before If I stiffed someone prove it step up and I will return your $$$
If on the otherhand your standing on the side line talking smack you need to check your facts.
The following parts were sold with in a matter of days and shipped in many cases BEFORE $$$ was recieved:
Gastank
Lock set
Frame
Regulator/Rectifier
Forks Gauges
Seat
Wheels
stator
Ign Trigger
head
Valve cover
Cylinders
engine covers
bar controls
who know what else.

Now as I said in another thread I was slow to ship some items(insert any excuse here as to why ) doesn't matter why, but to MY knowledge everyone got what they wanted shipped out and as you see by my PMs I have no record of ANYONE asking where their parts were or stating they didn't get them.
I still stand by what i said prove you bought it paid for it and you didn't get it and I will send your $$$$ within 5 days PayPal +$25 for any inconvenience  it caused you.
I have bought tons of stuff off of the internet and only been burned once for $50 that was never recovered(PayPal never got my shaZam! or my $$$) So I hate scammers as much as the next guy.

SRADkneedragger  is referring to this thread where he was accused of accepting payment for GS500 parts that he did not ship.

Kudos for taking the initiative to make this right!  :thumb:

i still think this should be handles through PM's.  i have had problems with parts i still have not gotten to people, although it is completely my fault, i appreciate that the party(s) involved used PM's to discuss this.  unless there is a blatant case of someone using the boards good reputation and the faith of the members i hope that thing like this be handled between the parties involved.  i just hate to see people accused of things publically(on the board) when some simple one on one could resolve the issue.

thats just me, fence mending :)

Hey Frankie,

Still interested in the fairing. Do you happen to remember if it is a blue fairing or not? Hope shipping won't be too much after dropping my bike on my ankle I've not really been able to work (security too much walking).
