Yeah, the parts availability issue is the only real problem with it............man it would make a nice project though.

I had CL send him a note to get a little more detail about the bike and it's history, I'm gonna call him tomorrow.  I really shouldn't spend the money, but having another bike to putter around town on would be nice.

yamahonkawazuki

Parts just aren't that hard to find or all that expensive for the Duc.  Aside from the Oil shock, everything is pretty reasonable.

Man, a little 2 smoke would be cool to roll up to the bar on once in a while..............

Jughead

Actually the x6 parts aren't that hard to Find Anymore. ;)

Really.Hell I have Clutch Cables,Throttle Cables, and Both Brake Cables for the Front and Rear. Some Parts from the X5 Invader Crosses over and there are guys that Have restored their bikes and Have Parts to trade on.After you get it running it may not look good for a While but you can Piece it together as you find the Other Parts. If you want to see Hard to Restore or find Parts for find a 68 or 69 T500. :o Can you say 1000's of Dollars just to get one Part Reproduced?  :o :o

They made the X6 from 66-68 so that would probably give as a Rough High Estimate of 30,000 Bikes Produced. Not that many Left but that's Better than the T500 Cobra Numbers.I think that there were just a Little over 10,000 of those Produced.
