Actually you posted in a public forum, for a part you had for sale, for more money than it costs. You are charging $50 + shipping where as you can get them for $40+shipping through MC Enterprises. They told me that shipping anywhere in the continental US is at most $8.00. In fact here is how much I was charged on my bank statement from them. As you can see $46.08 is less than $50.00, and that was $46.08 shipped.



So please, explain to me how I am the duck head. I am not the one who is trying to sell a set of case guards for more than there worth. Sure you lost some money in shipping, but no one in there right mind would pay $10 more for the same set of casegaurds you could by from MC Enterprises for $10 dollars less.

Plus, not only did you find the link to the casegaurds using GSTwin, you then come back and try to sell the caseguards, that someone was nice enough to post a link for, for more than the company sells them for.

You sir, are the duck head. And maybe you shouldn't take everything so personal and simple say, "Ohh I am sorry I do have these listed too high, I will sell them for $48 shipped since I do not like to take advantage of fellow GSTwin members"

Those of us longtime GStwin members have to stick together.
If you want to sell the case guards, sell them for a reasonable price here or put them on ebay and don't rip off thy fellow members here. But remember, someone buying them on ebay will know how much they really sell for, too.
Coll0412 is a helpful and knowledgeable fellow on our site. Don't be disrespecting him or we'll jump all over you. Especially since you weasled out and sold your GS500.

hmm, name calling, on gstwins ? think that better be moved to another forum, say, gixxer.com or something. information is provided here free of charge, and in a timely manner. the for sale section is not a right, but a privilage. know the difference. having the audacity to call names for someone providing information in a non-offensive way is beyond me.

the original offender would do good to edit his post, remove the offending comment, and politely apologize. given the amount of traffic gstwins gets and enjoys a very good reputation of for sale items being legitimate, it should be a good idea to keep it clean and pleasant.

the people may have been trying to inform the original poster that he had overpaid, and should consider it a loss at this point. having good connections and not over paying in the cycling world is a good thing. let's not poison the well, aight ?

it's a fair market value and if you don't mind sitting on them.....they don't eat much
