does anyone know for sure if a katana clutch assembly will fit on gsf bars?

No reason it wouldn't, they're both 7/8 bars and people put GS controls on Kat bars all the time when doing a FE swap.

the Kat doesn't mount quite the same...it is a one piece mount instead of two piece
you loose the ability to have a left bar mounted mirror....which i don't think applies to you

The whole clutch lever setup form a Kat will fit no problem.
I know for certain the kat clutch lever will not fit the GS.
The wiring switch if the GS and the kat are the same sliding type (some years of GS were not that sliding style - 96-2000 I want to say) then maybe it may fit. No clue.
